CELEBRATING STEELWRIST’S 20th YEAR
Rosersberg, Sweden
A&D Equipment was elated to have the opportunity to join fellow Steelwrist dealers, country managers, ambassadors, and staff from around the globe in celebrating their 20th anniversary! What a fantastic three-day event, hosted by an extraordinary team of welcoming, passionate, and talented people. It’s easy to see how, from its beginnings as a small newcomer in the world of excavator attachments, Steelwrist has grown into the global leader it is today.
We were particularly impressed by the overwhelming commitment to their products and the team-wide, forward-thinking mindset. These were some of the brightest individuals we’ve had the pleasure of meeting. It’s clear that every staff member is proud and dedicated to being part of the Steelwrist team.
The tour of Steelwrist’s manufacturing facility was fascinating—from concept and design to pre- and post-assembly, all the way down the line to staging and shipping. We observed many live demonstrations and heard insights from various section leaders.
And, as we’ve come to expect from our Steelwrist friends here at the U.S. hub, the after-hours events were festive, fun, and delicious. Thank you one and all for the amazing hospitality!
Gearing Up for the Next 20 Years
Assembly and Machining Expanding to U.S.
Richard Aulin
Steelwrist VP Region Americas
“At Steelwrist we are proud to celebrate 20 years of innovation—and eight strong years in North America, one of our fastest-growing global markets. We’re committed to providing best-in-class support and short lead times and we’re excited about what the future holds. In 2025, we’re taking a major step forward by launching local assembly and CNC machining at our facility in Newington, Connecticut. This investment not only strengthens our regional capabilities but also reinforces our commitment to delivering faster lead times and exceptional service.“ – Richard Aulin
What we’ve seen here at A&D over the past 10 years using Steelwrist products is a continual commitment to innovation and efficiency. And importantly, a consistent availability of in-stock attachments and parts. Expanding their U.S. commitment is super exciting and will offer even faster fulfillment capabilities.
A few notable Steelwrist highlights through the years include: the release of their Front Pin Lock safety system in 2012, the creation of the Open-S industry standard in 2020, the third-generation tiltrotator, and the new XTR range of tiltrotators in 2024. The XTR product line includes LockSense — a new patented safety system, OptiLube — an onboard lubrication system, and InstallMate — an easy-to-use installation application. We’ll be watching and updating you in the coming years!

Thirty minutes north of Stockholm, in the town of Enköping, is the AMAS dealership. AMAS is the only Rotastar dealer in Sweden, with sister companies in Norway and Denmark. We had to make the trip to meet our fellow screening enthusiasts!
Led by Ulf Dolfei, AMAS is all about innovative recycling. Along with the Rotastar screening bucket, they carry a wide range of robust demolition and dust management tools. Beginning with Furukawa hydraulic breakers over 30 years ago, AMAS has grown to represent Rotastar, VTN, Simex, Spraystream, and Dynaset. It was a great opportunity to sit down with AMAS and discuss the ever-increasing need for earth recycling on a global scale.
For AMAS, the “Scooper“—as they refer to the Rotastar across the pond—has been playing a crucial role in sustainable excavation techniques. The forgotten waste generated by construction, demolition, and civil engineering has long been managed in a linear manner. AMAS notes there is an urgent need for a more circular approach to managing these materials. The Rotastar is a huge step forward in material recycling.

Demonstrating the MB Crusher L140
Pit Stop Event, Clinton, CT
Welcome to our Pit! Anthony is back discussing the MB Crusher buckets for both excavators and skid steers. These buckets are ideal for crushing rock, concrete, sidewalks, footings, curbing, foundations, and more. He is demonstrating the performance of the MB L140 model. MB crushers have the ability to change sizes, opening up quite a bit depending on the model, and down to about a 1/2″ minus.
Let’s crush some retaining wall debris. Your machine does require high flow hydraulics. If you give us a call, or contact us here, we can review the requirements with you. Within this debris is rebar. The MB is great at cleaning off that rebar, and dropping it right through the crushing area.
A&D Pit Stops Days are an ideal way for you to test drive all of our attachments, ask as many questions as you like, get some advice, and grab some pricing.

At A&D, we’ve had the privilege of working with Mason Berlinghoff, owner of Four Silos Land Management, for several years. Mason is one of those rare customers who truly feels like part of the team. We were excited to see his business featured in the April edition of Construction Equipment Guide—a great opportunity to learn more about his passion for forestry and natural landscapes.
As a small business, Mason understands the importance of strategic investment. Enhancing capability and mobility has been key to his success. A proud Mecalac customer, he recently added the 8MCR to his fleet—a hybrid between a skid steer and compact excavator. He calls it a “game-changer,” especially for its ability to “fold up and maneuver under very low branches.” He’s also equipped his setup with a Steelwrist tiltrotator and Rotastar screening attachment—tools that have saved him serious time on the job.
For Mason, land management isn’t just about moving dirt. It’s about crafting the land into beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. We’re proud to support professionals like Mason who bring craftsmanship and care to every project.
