Rusty LaFata

Rusty LaFata has proudly served as A&D Equipment’s official Resident Office Dog for the past 10 years. A beloved fixture of the office, Rusty’s daily responsibilities include greeting visitors, accepting treats from anyone within reach, napping in the sun, getting visibly excited whenever Dad walks through the door, and barking at men with beards (strictly a security measure).

Originally joining the team from down south, Rusty brings a background rooted in perseverance, having learned the art of survival while running the streets before finding his forever home at A&D. He is highly motivated by treats from everyone and uninterrupted naps in warm spots, and he is always ready to “work” when it involves a walk with Mom down to the shop.

Known for his friendly, outgoing personality (again unless you have a beard), Rusty is easily recognizable as a ginger dog who proudly matches three of the LaFata kids. Despite his laid–back demeanor, he’s a tough one, most people don’t know he’s undergone two ACL surgeries and bounced back like a champ.

Outside of office hours, Rusty enjoys hunting, waiting patiently for the garbage man (a trusted treat supplier), and keeping a watchful eye on his surroundings. He remains an essential and irreplaceable member of the A&D Equipment team.
