Donna Lafata
President
Donna J. LaFata has long held a passion for field science, sustainability, and education. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a Master of Science in Environmental Education, and holds certification as a Professional Educator in the State of Connecticut.
After marrying Anthony LaFata, Donna played a vital role in supporting the LaFata & Son office while raising their four children and continuing to pursue her interests in the social and environmental sciences. In 2010, she and Anthony identified an opportunity to expand into equipment sales—an initiative driven by their desire to share decades of collective field expertise with a broader customer base.
A&D Equipment Sales LLC experienced steady growth in both size and geographic reach, and in 2020, Donna became instrumental in leading the company into its next phase of development. Under her leadership, A&D Equipment was incorporated and strengthened through the addition of a growing support staff, enhanced operational systems, and advanced technologies.
Now serving as President of A&D Equipment Inc., supporting customers across North America and beyond, Donna takes great pride in being a woman in construction and is committed to helping open new doors for women throughout the industry.
