Relationships in the Industry: Tradeshows & Networking
Tradeshows are great and we go to get leads and make money, right? For sure leads and money help pay the bills, but at the heart of it all, it is the relationships that matter! Meeting new clients and forming relationships. Seeing current customers and fostering those relationships. Networking with other vendors and colleagues and growing those relationships. At A&D Equipment, relationships have always been at the heart of our success. Over the years, the connections we’ve built—with customers, partners, and each other—have shaped who we are as a company. Every day, Donna, Anthony, and the entire team work to strengthen these relationships through trust, collaboration, and commitment. As Donna explains, “Our business thrives on our most central core value, “We build relationships that last a lifetime”, and that means for everyone that we do business with; our customers, colleagues, and vendors.
When customers think of A&D Equipment, we want them to think of value, exceptional service, and dependable support. We continue to grow our partnerships through open communication, problem solving, and trust—because at A&D Equipment, relationships are our foundation.
KOMATSU DEMO DAYS: Staying up on the Latest & Greatest
In mid-October, Anthony LaFata, VP of A&D Equipment, traveled to Cartersville, GA, and Chattanooga, TN on a field trip to learn more about the new Komatsu PC220 Excavator—a state-of-the-art machine that allows operators to easily program various attachments without needing to adjust flow or pressure settings for each tool.
At the Komatsu Training Center in Cartersville, Anthony had the opportunity to operate the PC220 firsthand. He was impressed by its intuitive controls, smooth operation, and advanced remote accessibility. The trip continued to Komatsu’s manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, where the PC220 and other machines are built. Anthony noted the factory’s cleanliness, organization, and commitment to excellence.
After this informative experience, Anthony jokingly added the PC220 to his Christmas list—already envisioning it paired with a Steelwrist Tiltrotator and Rotastar Screening Bucket on his future job sites.

Partner Spotlight: Joseph Golia Services; Keeping it all in the Family in CT
Nicholas Golia of Joseph Golia Services quite literally grew up in the landscaping business — learning by doing and carrying forward a family legacy that began in 1969. What started as a traditional landscaping company has evolved into a full-service operation that also supplies contractors throughout the area.
In late 2024, Nick invested in a Steelwrist Tiltrotator for his mini excavator — and it has transformed his business. The tiltrotator has made operations leaner and far more efficient, especially on projects in tight spaces. What once took a full day and multiple laborers can now be completed in about four hours with just one helper. With less manual wheelbarrowing and more precision from the cab, Nick is getting more projects done — faster and smarter.
Always looking ahead, Nick has his sights set on a Rotastar screening bucket, having already tested one on-site and seen firsthand the benefits of keeping materials on location. His wish list also includes a few more Steelwrist attachments. Maybe Santa will deliver this year!
