Mulder Outdoors Open House and Engcon Demo Day July 25, 2026
Join A&D Equipment at the Mulder Outdoors Open House & Engcon Demo Day
A&D Equipment is excited to be a Level 3 Sponsor of the upcoming Mulder Outdoors Open House & Engcon Demo Day, and we invite you to join us for a day filled with equipment demonstrations, industry networking, and hands-on opportunities to experience the latest innovations in equipment. The event will take place on July 25, 2026 from 9:00-4:00pm at Mulder’s new facility in Crown Point, IN.
Throughout the event, our team will be conducting live demonstrations featuring two of our most popular attachments:
Rotastar Screening Bucket – Process topsoil, compost, aggregates, and demolition material directly on-site with the industry’s original polyurethane star screening technology. Lightweight, efficient, and easy to maintain, the Rotastar helps contractors reduce hauling costs while increasing productivity.
MB-L160 Crusher Bucket – a compact, high-performance attachment that crushes concrete, brick, asphalt, and natural stone directly on-site, reducing hauling and disposal costs while turning waste into reusable aggregate. Ideal for demolition, construction, roadwork, landscaping, and site preparation, it improves jobsite efficiency by producing material for backfill, road base, and other applications. Its versatile design makes it well suited for excavators, skid steers, loaders, and backhoes, especially on smaller or confined job sites.
Whether you’re already using attachments or looking for ways to improve efficiency and profitability, this event is the perfect opportunity to see these products in action, ask questions, and speak directly with our knowledgeable team.
At A&D Equipment, we believe that the best equipment decisions are made by seeing products perform in real-world conditions. We look forward to connecting with customers, contractors, and industry professionals during this exciting event.
We hope to see you at the Mulder Outdoors Open House & Engcon Demo Day!
Pro-Tip from Anthony: No tilt required for screening!
No Tiltrotator? No Problem.
One of the most common questions we receive is whether the Rotastar Screening Bucket needs to be mounted to a tiltrotator. The answer is no! Do we prefer a tilt rotator? Of course, but it is most certainly not required.
The Rotastar Screening Bucket mounts directly to your excavator or skid steer (or your tiltrotator if you have one!), making it an incredibly versatile attachment for virtually any fleet. While it is fully compatible with tiltrotators, one is not required to take advantage of the Rotastar’s outstanding screening performance.
Available exclusively through A&D Equipment, the Rotastar is engineered to save contractors time, reduce operating costs, and maximize the value of onsite materials. As the world’s first screening bucket to utilize polyurethane rotating stars, it delivers exceptional screening performance while remaining lightweight and easy to transport.
The innovative rotating star design features a repelling finger profile that screens material without pinching or crushing it, allowing valuable onsite materials to be reused instead of hauled away. Whether you’re processing topsoil, compost, roots, vegetation, demolition waste, or other materials, the Rotastar helps reduce transportation, dumping, and material purchasing costs.
Why Contractors Choose the Rotastar
- Screens 17–125 tons per hour, depending on the model
- Standard output of ¾”, with variable screening sizes from ½” to 5″
- Screens wet or dry materials with a self-cleaning design
- Quiet operation with low hydraulic requirements and no case drain line
- Lightweight and easy to transport between job sites
- Durable, heavy-duty chain drive system with long-lasting wear components
- Simple maintenance with easily accessible service points
- Most models are in stock and ready to ship
- Compatible with excavators, skid steers, and loaders
From mini excavators to high-capacity excavators and loaders, there’s a Rotastar model designed to fit your equipment. Most models also offer optional top hitch and skid steer mounting systems, allowing you to move the attachment between carriers with ease. Our team can help determine the ideal model and mounting configuration to maximize your fleet’s productivity.
If you’re looking for a screening solution that delivers outstanding performance without requiring a tiltrotator, the Rotastar Screening Bucket is ready to get to work.

We’re doing something a little different this summer, and we want you there.
On July 15th, A&D Equipment is hosting Built in the Dirt — a full day of live field demonstrations at 522 S Hoop Pole Rd in Guilford, CT. Come out, watch the machines run in real conditions, and get hands-on time with the lineup before you buy.
Here’s what we’ll be demoing:

A&D Customer Spotlight: L&S Earthworx
Building Success with the Right Equipment and the Right Partners
When Luke Parmenter founded L&S Earthworx in 2006, he started with a single Kubota mini excavator and a vision for building a successful excavation business. Today, nearly two decades later, that vision has grown into a thriving operation based in Washington State.
Luke’s current fleet includes a Mecalac 9MWR equipped with a Steelwrist X12 tiltrotator and a Berkelmans hydraulic dump trailer, as well as a JCB 18Z fitted with a Steelwrist S30 coupler and buckets. While grading is the primary focus of L&S Earthworx, Luke also performs utility work and is frequently brought onto larger projects as a trusted subcontractor.
One attachment Luke relies on is his Rotastar 4-9 Screening Bucket. Whether screening utility pipe backfill, producing topsoil, sizing material for specialty applications, or separating 3.5-inch and larger rock for gabion baskets, the Rotastar helps him process material efficiently on-site. One recent project even involved screening native material to create beautiful cladding for a mountain cabin’s hearth and chimney.
Luke currently operates a Steelwrist X12 and has purchased replacement parts through A&D Equipment. Looking ahead, his wish list includes upgrading to the new Steelwrist XTR10 with SQ50.
Although L&S Earthworx is located across the country from A&D Equipment, Luke says distance has never been a barrier.
“I’ve always been treated like a person, not just a number. The team at A&D is great to work with.”
Luke doesn’t hesitate to recommend A&D Equipment to others. He appreciates the team’s product knowledge, commitment to representing high-quality brands, and real-world experience operating the equipment they sell.
“Being able to talk with people who actually run equipment, not just sell it, is a huge bonus. I get asked all the time on social media about dealers and parts, and I confidently recommend A&D Equipment because I know they’ll take care of people professionally.”
At A&D Equipment, we’re proud to partner with customers like Luke, whose commitment to quality workmanship and continuous improvement reflects the same values we strive to deliver every day. Thank you, Luke, for your continued trust and support. We look forward to being part of L&S Earthworx’s success for years to come.
